This service is FREE in the highlighted areas on the map shown to the right. Please ring if you live outside of these areas to obtain a quote for any possible additional delivery charges.
In general Logs for Firewood will try and deliver your order within 2 - 3 working days. The carrier will deliver the order to the nearest easily accessible road access, and if possible, move the load onto the customer’s property using easy access for a pallet lift. It is however the customers responsibility to ensure easy delivery access.
Logs for firewood will ring one hour before delivery, and if nobody is present when the delivery is made, the driver will wait for 20 minutes only. If nobody has arrived after 20 minutes, the carrier will leave the delivery in as secure a location as realistically possible, but this will negate any insurance and will be entirely at the customer’s risk.
The customer is ultimately responsible for disposing of any wrapping, ensuring somebody is present for accepting the delivery, ensuring easy delivery access and notifying Logs for Firewood immediately of any damage etc along with accompanying photographic evidence.
Logs for Firewood will make every reasonable effort to ensure an efficient, fast and reliable delivery subject to the above conditions.
